Habitat preferred by this species is the Arabian Desert and some parts of the Australian continent


Size and Weight : Body length ranges from 1.8 to 2 meters and weighs between 300 to 600 kilograms

They have long eyelashes and can close their nostrils to prevent sand from entering their eyes and nose. Their wide and flat feet help them maintain stability on sand

- They can carry loads of up to 100 kilograms

- Lifespan is approximately 40 to 50 years

- They drink about 50 liters of water at a time
